Winter A&A Conference Covers Timely Topics

This year’s Winter Accounting & Auditing Conference on February 19 in Troy, brings you a comprehensive line-up of the latest news and information in one convenient program. 

John Higgins, chair-elect of the MACPA Board, and Judith Trepeck of The Trepeck Group will deliver a keynote address that provides an update on issues facing the profession and features an introduction of the Audit Committee Toolkit, a new resource for professionals who work with corporate boards and audit committees.

Keynote speaker, Gregory Haslam of Alpha Financial Consulting, Inc., will discuss one of today’s hottest strategic management programs as he presents “Performance Measurement, Balanced Scorecard and Benchmarking – Are Accountants and Business Measuring the Right Thing?” Haslam will also present breakout sessions, Cash Flow Analysis and Balance Sheet and Income Statement Analysis.

Other topics to be covered during the breakout sessions include internal control and financial reporting fraud, activity-based costing and fiduciary accounting ethics among others.
