In accordance with the MACPA Bylaws, Article XI, Section 3, John R. Hepfer settled charges of violating Rule 201 General Standards: Due Professional Care and Rule 202 Compliance with Standards of MACPA and AICPA Code of Professional Conduct. Without admitting or denying the charges, Hepfer agreed to a twenty-four month suspension of his membership in the MACPA and AICPA, effective May 11, 2004, and to complete 72 hours of specified CPE courses during the suspension period.
