Small Practitioners Conference: A Can’t-Miss Event for Today’s Small/Sole Practitioner

For the 28th consecutive year, the MACPA’s Small Practitioners Conference will once again provide excellent education, exhibitors and entertainment to conference attendees.

This year’s program includes a line-up of top-rated speakers, sessions addressing the most current topics and an evening of entertainment. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit with exhibitors offering products and services to improve your business processes.

The Conference is slated for August 17-19 at the newly renovated Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo. You can earn up to 21 hours of recommended CPE credit through session developed for small/sole practitioners.

On Wednesday, arrive at the Conference at 9 a.m. to participate in an optional morning golf outing at Heritage Glenn Golf Course followed by breakout sessions and the exhibitor reception. On Thursday, hear from keynote speakers Leslie Murphy, AICPA vice chair; Peggy Dzierzawski, MACPA president and CEO; James Metzler, AICPA vice president of Small Firm Interests; and luncheon speaker John Higgins, MACPA Board of Directors chair. Thursday evening will wrap up with dinner and special entertainment.

Rounding out the excitement and education is a Fun Walk on Friday morning to be followed by the remaining Conference sessions.
