MACPA and Federalist Society Partner to Present Expert Panel at Corporate Governance Forums MACPA has recommitted resources to its successful partnership with the Michigan Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society. Two breakfast forums on best practices are slated for May 17 in Livonia and June 7 in Grand Rapids titled Corporate Governance Responsibilities in a Time of Uncertainty: Diverse Perspectives on Best Practice. State of Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox (Livonia only) and former Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus (Grand Rapids only) will join expert panelists, including AICPA and MACPA Board member Leslie Murphy and Cleveland defense attorney and former Magistrate Judge James D. Thomas, Esq., to discuss the compliance topics for businesses. The program includes a continental breakfast and qualifies for four general CPE credits.
