State and National Leaders Took Center Stage

Peer review was one of the major topics of discussion at last week’s Members Advisory Forum meeting in Lansing. The biannual event attracted more than 200 members from across the state and featured national and state leaders as speakers.

Awards 22 Scholarships

Michigan Accountancy Foundation President Stephen Epstein awarded scholarships to 22 students pursing accounting degrees. Members enjoyed the opportunity to meet the recipients at the May 10, 2006 Members Advisory Forum in Lansing.

Profile of Paul Hense

A CPA since 1972, Paul Hense is a small practitioner who lives and works in Grand Rapids. His firm focuses on small business, personal tax and financial planning. A staunch supporter and advocate for small business, Paul currently serves as chair of the National Small Business Association. He also chaired the Small Business Association of Michigan and has served both the Grand Rapids and Cheboygan Chambers of Commerce.
