The MACPA showed its appreciation for the exceptional accomplishments of its members and affiliates at the 2006 MACPA Awards Dinner.

Forty-two awards were presented to celebrated members, task forces and partners on Wednesday, October 4 at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. Among the recipients were Bill Ezzell who received the Outstanding Visionary Award, John Higgins who received the Distinguished Service Award and Dick Gabrys who received the Distinguished Achievement Award.

The program featured a special memorial tribute for Jeff Barry, long-time MACPA member and former Michigan Accountancy Foundation trustee who was a recipient of the MACPA’s highest awards – the Distinguished Achievement Award and the Distinguished Service Award.
