New Series for Marquette Area: Accounting and Auditing Update, Yellow Book

Visit Marquette this November for a series new to the area, presented by Gary Hotchkiss of RealisticApproach Seminars.

The first seminar in the series will be on November 3 – the Annual Accounting & Auditing Update: A Realistic Approach. The session offers eight accounting and auditing hours and will address topics such as outputs of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Accounting Standards Executive Committee of the AICPA and the Auditing Standards Board and auditing and attestation standards to name a few.

The Annual Yellow Book Update & Review: A Realistic Approach will be held November 4. At this seminar, you’ll get a realistic approach designed specifically for auditors subject to generally accepted governmental auditing standards (GAGAS). Focus on how to apply the requirements of “little GAS” to audits of the financial statement, look at Yellow Book concepts and discuss risk-based approaches to audits – all while earning eight accounting and auditing credits.

Visit the MACPA web site for more information or to register for the November 3 or November 4 seminar.
