Peer Review: Steps to Success
Effective March 1, 2007, the State
of Michigan will require all firms and sole practitioners that perform
audits, reviews and compilations relied upon by third parties to participate
in a Peer Review program for firm license renewal. Whether you’ve had
a lot of experience with peer reviews or you’re new to the process, you want

Hospice Financial Resource Guide Will Soon
Be Available to MACPA Members
The resource guide developed jointly by the MACPA and Hospice of Michigan (HOM)
to address end-of-life financial questions will be available to MACPA
members on September 28, 2006. The online publication will be offered to CPAs
to use as a resource in working with clients, just as HOM social workers and
grief support staff have used the 54-page guide over the past several
