adds that electronic correspondence can also be subpoenaed and "entered as evidence in a court of law", so employees would do best to be discreet. "If you would be embarrassed by it being printed in the newspaper, don't send it via email," Snedaker
says. Users can boost email's efficiency with succinct subject lines that explain what the message is about, and in some cases, knowing when to call a party directly to discuss a matter.
