Staff Training Programs Provide for Growth
Send Multiple Staff Members and Save

This September, take advantage of two AICPA/AHI programs to train your audit staff right. Training sessions are geared to different levels of experience: Semi-Senior and Beginning In-Charge. Sign up several staff members for one or both events to receive a multiple attendee discount – enroll one staff member at the regular price and receive a $50 discount for each additional person registered from your company. Use the promotional code ST04 when registering via phone or online.

Staff will gain the confidence they need to handle small engagements at AICPA/AHI Staff Training: Semi-Senior from September 8 – 10 in Novi. As attendees earn 24 A&A credits, this course helps them to improve their communication skills with partners and client personnel, to become adept at drafting financial statements, to write better memoranda and to develop an overall confidence that will aid them in meeting the needs of clients. Upon completion of this course, staff are better-prepared to complete smaller audits, reviews and compilations with minimum supervision and maximum profitability. Staff will also improve their skills at performing more complex analytical procedures and at drafting financial statements and footnotes.

Second and third year audit staff members will benefit greatly – and earn 24 A&A credits – at AICPA/AHI Staff Training: Beginning In-Charge. The course provides extensive training in crucial procedural, evaluative and supervisory areas. The session also helps attendees improve planning, review, audit and other engagement skills as well as gives them techniques for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Your staff’s ability to assess risk and materiality and to make non-statistical sampling decisions will greatly improve in this all-inclusive course.

Future events in the AICPA/AHI Staff Training include: AICPA/AHI Staff Training: Basic on October 6-8 in Novi and AICPA/AHI Staff Training: Supervisory on October 20-22 in Plymouth. Be sure to watch for more events in this staff training series to come.
