If you're an MACPA member in corporate finance and you’re not familiar with the Center for Corporate Financial Leadership (CCFL), then you’re missing out on an excellent benefit of your MACPA membership. CCFL brings a world of information to your fingertips through a variety of outlets – one of which is the Business Research Library.

You’ll cut the time you spend on research down to mere minutes with the Business Research Library. The library offers multiple ways to assist you in your research – they’ll even do it for you.

Information specialists are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST) to answer research questions via live chat. They can also be reached by phone at 800.416.3815 or 312.601.4613, e-mail at libraryservices@ccflinfo.org, or fax at 312.906.8045. Plus, a Research Request Form filled out online will also garner answers to research questions.

In addition to this valuable service, the library assists with research in several other ways. Members can search the library’s online catalog for a collection of more than 6,000 books, loose-leaf services, CD-ROMs, magazines and online databases covering accounting, auditing, bankruptcy, budgeting, business plans, business valuation, financial advisory services, human resources, strategic planning, taxation and much more. Items in the library’s circulating collection (which include all items except for magazines and a small collection designated “Reference Use Only”) can be checked out for a three-week loan period by e-mailing the library at libraryservices@ccflinfo.org or by calling 800.416.3815.

Visit the “Links to online resources” section of the library to access a number of helpful tools. Featuring links to finance tools, interest rate information, pertinent organizational web sites and more, these links will supplement researching needs.
