Legislative & Regulatory
Association Leadership Networks with State Legislators

Under the regal Rotunda of Michigan’s 125-year old State Capitol building, the MACPA hosted its Spring Legislative Reception on May 11th. Attended by nearly 100 state legislators and staff, this annual event presented a unique opportunity for Association leadership to build new and maintain existing relationships with members of the State House of Representatives, the State Senate and their staff. Members and office-holders discussed issues of importance to CPAs from across the state, and offered expertise to assist legislators with the complex issues they face daily in their legislative responsibilities.
