Take Time To Serve…
There’s an MACPA Task Force for You

“Why should I get involved,” you might wonder; or “I don’t have time,” you are accustomed to saying.

But each one of us has an inclination (or two) that never seems to be attended to – and we later regret we didn’t give just a few hours each year to make a difference.

Maybe your wish is to seek out a network for personal or professional development?

Do you want to belong to a community of peers who can relate to the demands and challenges you face and provide the expertise and information that would benefit you in your firm or company?

Have charitable requests and public service always tugged at your conscience, but you weren’t sure how you could give your time to help?

Maybe you’ve always had ideas or suggestions about how your professional association can have an even greater impact on the profession and the public?

If any of these scenarios sound familiar, there is an MACPA task force for you; and the time to join one of more than 40 task forces is now.

By joining a task force, you commit to showing up for meetings, volunteering to participate in task force initiatives and ultimately serving as a leader in our great profession. Most task forces meet two to four times each year (conference call options are available for most) and an
e-mail address is required for communication purposes.

Volunteer for a task force online today. Questions regarding task force involvement should be directed to Leslie Smith or call 248.267.3734.
