Member and Staff Volunteers Share
the Detroit Spirit at the Super Bowl

The Pittsburgh Steelers might have won the game but MACPA volunteers played a part on the “winningest” team during Super Bowl XL. While the players battled it out on the field, approximately 25 MACPA volunteers played host to Detroit visitors, showcasing the city and exemplifying the hospitality of mid-westerners.

Through the efforts of the MACPA New Professionals Task Force, member and staff volunteers joined the Downtown Detroit Partnership, KPMG, Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young as Street Ambassadors. Flanked in official red Commemorative Super Bowl XL Parkas, the volunteers assisted guests in the neighborhood around the Detroit stadium and at suburban hotels.
