The enactment of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) signaled a major change for external auditors, management of public companies, boards of directors and internal auditors.

Failure to comply with SOX can result in fines, penalties…even imprisonment. Thus, it is vitally important that you ensure your company is in compliance.

Complying with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 on March 23 in Livonia will address the provisions of SOX, in particular Section 404. The course will include an overview of SOX provisions, a discussion of independence rules for auditors, COSO framework and internal controls, documentation of internal control processes and more.
