A new guide developed by MACPA members for Michigan legislators and their tax professionals clarifies tax issues unique to their positions in state government.

With technical review by the MACPA Federal Tax Task Force, an MACPA subcommittee comprised of former State Representatives Barbara Dobb, CPA and Susan
Grimes-Munsell, CPA as well as Robert Bovitz, CPA, created the first edition of the MACPA Tax Guide for Members of the Michigan Legislature.

The guide was recently delivered to all 148 members of the Michigan House and Senate. The 41-page booklet may be downloaded from the MACPA’s web site.
