Federal Tax Lectures Focus on Individual and Business Tax

Attend the Federal Tax Lectures on December 8 in Livonia and hear from Steve Dilley, winner of the MACPA’s 2005 Distinguished Achievement in Accounting Education Award, and J. William Harden, associate professor of accounting a the University of North Carolina.

Dilley will provide an individual tax update with specific attention to provisions impacting individual income taxpayers, including uniform child provisions for dependents and credits, retirement changes and the new legislation related to Hurricane Katrina tax breaks.

Harden will present a business tax update with specific focus on the latest legislation and developments affecting corporate income tax. He will discuss 2005 tax legislation,
S Corporation and partnership developments and miscellaneous business developments.
