The MACPA will have to make room in its trophy shelf after being awarded a Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) Diamond Award for the third year in a row. This is the fifth MSAE Diamond Award that the MACPA has won since 2003.

At MSAE’s annual Diamond Awards Banquet on Sept. 15, 2005, at St. Johns Golf & Conference Center in Plymouth, the MACPA earned top honors in the category of “E-Newsletter” for its newest online publication, The Business Edge. The Business Edge is a bi-weekly publication launched in November 2004 that is geared toward CPAs working in Industry.

The Diamond Awards Banquet is designed to recognize excellence and innovation in associations across the state. At this year’s event, forty-two entries competed in nine categories.

The MACPA was previously awarded in 2004 with the Excellence in Meetings & Expositions Award and Best in Show. In 2003 the Association won both the Excellence in Public Relations and Excellence in Membership Development awards.
